In Person Event Safety Guidelines
As we transition to include some in-person events, CSPA-NYS will be implementing the following safeguards to abide by local and federal compliance and promote the safety and well-being of our attendees. Our association values the health and well-being of our members and the communities in which our members reside and work. COVID-19 is still a risk and we encourage all attendees to use caution and personal judgment when deciding to attend any in-person events. As an association, we promise to implement the following safeguards:
Asking all attendees to monitor symptoms and do not attend CSPA-NYS events if they are experiencing any symptoms related to COVID-19.
CSPA-NYS is taking precaution by limiting the capacity to the capacity recommended by the venue following local department of health and/or federal guidelines.
CSPA-NYS is taking precaution by following masking guidance as currently recommended by the local department of health and/or federal guidelines.
Events are subject to change based on local and federal guidance - CSPA-NYS will continue to monitor conditions as event approach and will change/cancel events as necessary

According to the Centers for Disease Control, “when choosing safer activities, consider how COVID-19 is spreading in your community, the number of people participating in the activity, and the location of the activity. If you have underlying medical conditions [1] you should consider not attending. You should attend in-person events if you are comfortable doing so.

If you have travel plans or recently got back and have not been tested, you should consider joining us for another event instead. You can stay up to day with all our events on social media or at CSPANYS.org/events

CSPA-NYS encourages all attendees to monitor symptoms ahead of time. If you are experiencing any COVID-19 related symptoms and no longer plan to attend, please contact prodev@cspanys.org. For Higher Ed Happy Hours, please contact membership@cspanys.org .
